A man of God
Bro. Joe was truly a man that love God and doing his work. I was a loyal listener. God bless the entire family. I only wish that all of the things that have been said since he has been gone was said when he could hear them. I hope that the morning teamplay some of his recorded prayers sometimes.

As we remeber Bro. Joe Bagby, we are reminded of the support and encouragment that he offered as we aspired to be great innovators in the funeral service industry. It was his continued influence that fueled our ambitons and aspirations. We are appreciative of the advise, and advancement opportunites given to us by this giant of a man, and will forever be indebted to him. Sleep on Bro. Joe. "Until

"Lord I want to be a Christian in my heart." Bro. Joe sung that song two weeks ago... I'm so glad I got a chance to hear it for myself. The only way to truly memorialize him is to be to the community what he was... a pillar

I and my mother will truly miss Bro. Joe. I used to be the KHVN Cheerleader over 25 years ago on the morning show. My cheer was gimme a K, gimme a H, gimme a V, gimme a N, heaven 97 yeah! In my home that was the only station playing even on Saturday mornings with no interruption. As an adult I and my mom have still kept in contact with Bro. Joe...he inspired me and may God continue to Bless the KHVN staff and the Bagby Family.

I enjoyed the Testimony Fridays over the years. They really got us through from a long hard week. When Friday came it was time to listen to all the blessings and praises and enjoy the hour of praise that would take us through the day and the weekend until Monday morning. It has been different already on last week not to hear his voice. Let's all look to hills from whence cometh our help cause all of our help comes from the Lord. KHVN Staff stay strong in the Lord and he will see you through. Bro. Joe has instilled a lot into the KHVN family so take it all with stride and do what you know is the right thing to do and do it in the name of Jesus.

In Loving Memory Of A Love Train Legacy
To: Brother Joe’s Immediate, Extended and KHVN staff and Family (“Can anybody hear me,” said our morning guy.) We thank God for Bro. Joe and our Condolences go out to you. We are deeply saddened for his having left us, however. We are eternally grateful for him having left us a boxcar of memories on A Love Train OF Legacies. Nevertheless, we’ve lost a sweet and complete love in Bro. Joe. We wanted him to be here a little longer, but everybody gets tired sooner or later. We listened to his Radio Ministry and admired his personality. Bro. Joe was a man a real man. He was a committed man. If he made a promise, rain, sleet or snow would not keep him from honoring that promise. If he could walk or talk he would be at work on time. There were probably times when his wife and/or children felt he shouldn’t go to work; but Bro. Joe wouldn’t let anything keep him from honoring his obligations. You can pay some people in advance and they still are a no show. Not Bro. Joe. He not only was a radio personality, a Constance table, an Honorable and Noble man, but he was our friend and our prayer partner as well. Years ago, in 1987 when I was released from the penitentiary, I went to Bro. Joe at KHVN and told him about the organization I had founded, Reduce Recidivism by Industrial Development (RRID). He immediately told Bro. Robert Ashley that he thought this would be a good topic for his talk show program. Bro. Dr. Ashley agreed and had me on as his guess. However, I thought to myself “What does Bro. Joe like about this newscaster-discerning that he didn’t seem to be quite saved yet.” Well, as the years went by, I see what Bro. Dwayne Dancer and Bro. Joe saw in Dr. Ashley. Just like Bro. Joe, Bro. Robert was articulating, he showed up for work on time, and took care of business with integrity. I remember, there were times when I felt Bro. Joe was at work by himself at two or three or four o’clock in the mornings. Sometimes I felt it was just he and Dr. Ashley even before he signed on about five something. Bro. Joe always signed on and off the air with a song and a prayer. I need thee every hour. Bro. Joe was a praying man. He prayed for everybody-his wife and kids, preachers, teachers, parents/children, soldiers Christian and military, and the President of the United States. Also, he blessed The United States of America. Moreover, he prayed for the lost. He deserves our admiration so much. Bro. Joe knew his calling was to help the Lord find the lost. He played Gospel music and lived a meek and spirit filled life as an example. We are so glad that he was able to witness President Oboma win the election. He probably said, “It ain’t no stopping us now. We are on the move.” Bro. Joe stayed on the move and in the grove with his Gospel music. He’d probably tell us to be encouraged. Keep the Faith. Don’t let anything stand in our way. Keep on keeping on. Keep pushing. So, when you feel like crying or giving up, just remember how God must have felt when He lost His only begotten. The One who didn’t do anything to deserve what he got. However, we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; and we are saved by God’s Grace. Thank God for Jesus, and Brother Joe for having passed by this way -during our life- time. He work and lived for us because he loved us so. In closing, THE LORD BLESS THEE, AND KEEP THEE: THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON THEE, AND BE GRACIOUS UNTO THEE; THE LORD LIFT UP HIS CONTENANCE UPON THEE, AND GIVE THEE PEACE. We put upon thee Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Legacy of Bro. Joe Bagby. Take it now and be blessed. Sincerely, In Loving Memory of A Love Train Legacy, Rev. Jonathan O. Fisher, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas (jofisher@sbcglobal.net) Or (817-882-0972)

Joe Bagby Was A Father Indeed
When I heard Bro. Joe Bagby had passed away my heart was so torn. I knew that he'd made it into Glory! On the other hand I I knew that I'd really miss him. A flood of emotions came over me as I listened to the station on that Thursday when I got the news. For me to grieve over someone who I wasn't really close to meant that he was really, really dear to my heart (even from a distance) just listening to him on KHVN and even KNOK for so many years (I've date myself ha ha). My dad (who passed away in 2007 would often drive me to work in the mornings and when you got in his truck he was going to be listening to Joe Bagby and Heaven 97. No way you could change the dial to anything else! Those of us in Christ know that he's graduated and been promoted to his Heavenly Reward! I can just he and my dad praising God even now! God continue to strengthen the staff of KHVN and The Bagby Family! Minister Felicia House

God's Property
Well, to loose a man of God is very hard to fathom, but I, and we must remember he was God's property ,only here to serve Gos's purpose in this life, and that mission was for Bro. Joe to touch and win as many souls as he could so that his tree would have fruit, he won me over and because of Heaven 97 and listenig to Bro. Joe and the old time religion music God and Bro. Joe won me over. Because of the music and God knew I love music I have now been saved for 2 yrs and 10 months and loving every bit of it. God has a beutiful spirit sitting with him now and I know that Bro. Joe has many crowns. God Bless Heaven 97, keep moving on............

Love You Dearly Bro. Joe
I've had mixed emotions after hearing of Bro. Joe's passing on last Friday. I was first struck with grief and then a sense of relief and assurance, for I know He no longer suffers and his legacy lives on in all of us. I loved Bro. Joe; He was the light of my days. I could not help but listen to KHVN every morning to hear him speak. I worked at KHVN for about a year and Bro. Joe poured countless amounts of wisdom and love into my life. He was to me like the "Grandfather I Never Had". Always smiling and giving words of encouragement. I know our loss is God's gain. We all miss his presence, but He has completed his calling and thus God has called him home. Sis. Faye my prayers are with you and your family! To God Be The GLORY For All He Has Done!!! I thank you Lord for Blessing me to have come in contact with such a wonderful man of God! - Sherry

Pastor Michelle Jones to A Wonderful Man of God!
I had just talked to Bro. Joe on the Thursday prior to his homegoing, and when he asked me to pray, he said to pray for the morning team and the staff there. Bor. Joe knew that Dr. Ashley, Deacon Cedric, & Lady J would need some extra strength to make it through this! When I first heard the news, I cried, because I truly loved him!Things in life seem to "catch us off guard", but they never catch God off guard and I believe with all my heart that Bro. Joe had walked with God so long that he knew he wouldn't be here on Friday, which is why he began to give the morning team instructions on how to carry on. I've known Bro. Joe for over 30 years and he has always been the same! I will miss him greatly! We continue to lift up Sis. Falaine & his family as well as the entire staff of KHVN! Bro. Joe...We'll see you in the morning! Pastors Tyrone & Michelle Jones, A HIGHER VISION MINISTRIES

I've made it a practice to be near the radio at 8:59am each weekday to hear Bro. Joe's closing prayer. I will miss this praying brother. These prayers have often helped me through challenging times in my life and at other times the prayers are purelyinspirational. Brother Joe is second to none when it comes to praying. My sympathy to the Bagby family and the KHVN family. Bro. Joe will be a tough act to follow.

Safely Home
I met Brother bagby in the 1990's while he was constable with precinct 8. He and his staff assisted me with a legal matter. Brother Bagby handled my situation with compassion. Later, I met sister Bagby by way of Glendale Learning Center. Both she and Dunita took impeccable care of my son Caanan. Brother Joe would sometimes be at Glendale with the children sitting around him. Since the closing of Glendale, I have not found another caregiver so warm and loving. I am so thankful for Brother Bagby's radio ministry. To the family, Brother Bagby will be truly missed. But, we can rejoice in knowing that he is safely home.

I arrived in Fort Worth last year in July transitioning from GA. The only gospel station in my hometown that aired gospel music was only done on Sundays until 1 pm. Someone informed me that Dallas had a radio station that played 24-7. I tuned my car radio and my radio at home to 970 am thereafter. When i say I listened to it 24-7, it's a fact!. I would go to work with KHVN, where I first heard Bro. Bagby. My favorite part was on Fridays with Testimony time and the prayer by Bro. Joe and Mother Prescott. I never met him personally but just listening at him on air made me feel that I have known him for years. Such a great man. He will certainly be missed. What an icon for KHVN.

Brother Joe Bagby was a wonderful witness & testimony of the goodness and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A man whom many both near and far respected and loved. The Radio Evangelist
Although I did not know Bro. Bagley personally and was introduced to him by way of radio only I felt as though I knew him, he was always warm, pleasant, happy, and kind he left footprints of encouragement in my heart. He will truly be missed but I'm sure without doubt he made it to the PRIZE, which was his ultimate goal. He reminds me so much of the Evangelist Billy Graham...they both preach and teach nothing but Jesus the difference is Bro Joe was a radio evangelist and Graham had a television evangelist may his legion live on forever though the lives of those who loved him. MY MOTHER'S PRAYER
Bro. Joe touched so many lives until it's hard to imagine him not being here. My mother is a retired educator with the Dallas Independent School District. She would not start her day until she heard the prayer of Bro. Joe Bagby. She often told me that it was something about him praying that would take her through the day. I thank God above and the entire Bagby Family as well as KHVN Radio Station for sharing Bro. Bagby with us. He will truly be missed on this side, but I can rejoice because I know that if we "Live Like We Are Dying" we will see Bro. Joe again. Prayerfully The Graham Family

Knowing Bro. Joe was a real blessing. After hearing hin on the radio back in the days of KNOK, I knew the name. But I met the man when he ran for Constable of Precinct 8 in 1988, and became his executive secretary and organized the efforts that helped him defeat 5 other opponents in a landslide victory. then when he would be re-elected, he came to me for help, and I said 'Joe are going to win on your name alone, everybody knows you are a servant and you will win. What a time I will cherish the fun, the teaching and the experience. I also met and came to love his lovely wife Faye, and little Joe then and Vet became my realtor much later. Joe was a real mentor, a man who went to Lincoln with my mother and aunt. I will always respect, love and cherish the values he helped to sharpen in my life. Many people have been blessed by his life and I am glad today that I got to know him as a community leader, minister and daughter. My heart is a bit sad only because we will miss this jewel, but my spirit Rejoices in the fact that he was an ambassador for Jesus Christ and his life is a witness to humanity, to what a real servant and leader should impart to the environment that God has put him in. Blessings and prayers to Faye and the entire Bagby family and his co-harts at KHVN!

Missing Bro. Joe
What an awesome man of GOD!!! I cannot count the times I have heard Bro. Joe pray, and all of the sage wisdom he shared with everyone that listened to KHVN. He was man of principles and morals, he was a faithful servant and loved his people to the very end. He acted justly, he loved mercy, and now he is walking humbly and at peace with his LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST. I pray GOD's comfort and strength for his family. I will miss him forever. K.L. Lewis

Part of our life 4-ever
It's funny that a man I never met but listened to for about 20 years could leave such an impact on my family. I loved Bro. Joe and he will be greatly missed. When I get in my car and turn on the radio I still look forward to hearing him. I will also miss during the holidays when he would tease the "young" women and say that they couldn't cook. He would say "I see ya'll going into Luby's". I will sure miss him. God Bless Sis. Faye and the KHVN family.

Bro. Joe was an incredible, spirit filled, man of God who loved serving God and others. He had an awesome sense of humor, and a "Real" approach to life on and off the radio. He had to have been a man after God's own heart. He will be missed.

Miss Me but Let Me Go! When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little--but not too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me--but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone. It's all apart of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. MISS ME--BUT LET ME GO! May God bless and keep you.

Although I did not know him personally, I felt Bro. Joe was a true man of God. I loved to hear him pray. I loved the way he interacted with the kids on he show. He would tell the kids how nice they looked, even though he could not see them thru the radio(lol)or he would say (child's name) is that you. Girl I have been missing you. I could go on and on because there were so many good things to say...But to sum it all up, he was an awesome man!

I moved here from South Florida the winter of 1991. I was so excited to find a 24hr gospel station such as KHVN. I continue to listen everyday. I always looked forward to hearing Bro.Joe Bagby each weekday morning. He got me started each morning and inspired me to be a living witness for Christ each day, because he truly was. I admired him and respected his opinion and advice. He truly exemplified the love of Christ.I will definitedly miss him each morning and on Sunday afternoons. May God bless and keep his family is my prayer.

I met Bro Joe years ago at the Church of the Living God, which was pastored then by Bishop L. A. Crawford. That was better than meeting a movie star or renowen singer. I had listened to Bro Joe on the radio for years and finally, I got to meet the man, the wondersul Joe Bagby. Bro Joe will be missed. Bro Joe's passing brought back memories of when Jimmy Avant Passed away. He was another soilder that I had listened to for many years. To the Bagby family, thanks for sharing this wonderful man, we all loved him dearly.

Brother Joe will indeed be missed!!
Although, I did not know Bro. Joe personally I felt as if I knew him...I looked forward to hearing the morning exercise and his heart felt prayer and encouraging words. I had my first encounter at Edmondson's Chicken in Fort Worth years ago...I heard his voice and asked if he was Brother Joe he answered, "Yes, Sister, Evangelist" it made me feel so happy to know that he planted the seed of "Sister Evangelist"...To this day I am now employed for one of the largest Global ministries in the DFW area...Thank you so much KHVN and the Bagby family for sharing this "Great Man" with the radio audience and the community!! A Time and A Season
Last week on May 7, my family and I was involved in a car accident, we hit a cement wall during rush hour traffic traveling about 60 mph, thank you God for khvn and thank you for being an on time GOD, we found strength and praise through this radio station and it was during the time of a believer of christ that was gone to heaven to be with the LORD, I truly understood the scripture about rejoicing when someone dies, it was Bro. Joes life and death that got me through this trying time, so to the Bagby family I say on behalf of my 8yr old son, my 14 month old grandson, their father, myself to the lady and her young daugther we were all involved in the accident and God saw fit for all of us to still be alive and well today and to call his servant( Bro. Bagby) home to be with him now, May GOD Bless each one of you and May he stregthen and keep you safe in his care until you meet Bro. Joe again and you will is my prayer. Thank you

Two years ago I found Brother Joe’s Show on the Internet. We didn’t have a gospel station in Phoenix at the time and it was a blessing to find his show. It didn’t take long to realize why Brother Joe was a Legend. It was always a pleasure to listen to the Wisdom, Compassion and Genuine Love coming from a Great Man of God. I always thought what a blessing it is for the people of Dallas to know such a Wonderful Man. I am also thankful that one day, I came across Brother Joe reaching out to not only Dallas, but the world through the Internet. It gives me a great deal of pleasure, as a retired member of the United Armed Forces, to salute the Legendary Brother Joe Bagby.

Joe on the Radio
I remember Bro. Joe as a little girl growing up in Waco, Tx, my parents would turn on the radio every sunday morning to listen to Bro. Joe on radio. Then when my family and I moved to Dallas 19 years ago on May 8th, I learn about Heaven 97, and was reconnected with Bro. Joe, I had the opportunity of meeting him and Mother Bakker at a event that was going on at the Martin Luther King Center in Dallas about 15 years ago. An to meet the man that you grew up listening to was a great joy. Losing him is like losing a part of my family. But god knows best and Bro. Joe has touch so many lifes and has help so many people so his job on this side was complete. Heaven was missing an angel and God took one of ours to help watch over us and guide us and protect us bro. Joe will help keep us out of harms way. God Bless

Bro. Joe Bagby will be sadly missed. My husband and I became acquainted with Bro. Joe during a musical several years ago in Ft. Worth, Texas of which we were a part of that musical. My favorite time to listen to Brother Joe was during the swap shop on Thursdays. My wife faithfully listened to Brother Joe early in the morning on the way to work and throughout the day. In the classroom Brother Joe could be heard. During the morning discussions there was Brother Joe. When I called in and Brother Joe would answer the telephone, he was say, hello Bro Ty! Again, Brother Joe will be sadly missed especially in the morning. We look forward to that day when the Lord splits the heavens and we will see HIM in the clouds.

My Brother, My Friend
My name is Charles, His name is Joe Ihad the pleasure of meeting Bro. Bagby in 1966. He helped me get my first radio job at KNOK radio station. He taught me the ends and outs of broadcasting, especially gospel broadcasting. After that his mom Mrs. Emma Bagby adopted me as her other son, of which Iwas very proud to be.Imiss my brother very much and hope to get back in radio so I can carry on the real tradition of Jimmy Avant and Joe Bagby Joe even taught me to talk like him. I can never be Joe but even today I am still trying to be exactly like him. Little sparks of fire flows from the chimney and into the sky, My God selects the very best as they go by. Love you ,Man Rest In Peace.

He's Greatly Missed
Bro. Joe was a great inspiration to me and my family. He gave my mother, Helen J. Williams of Waxahachie, Texas the stage name, "The Fat Lady of Gospel". He supported her and played her music when she released her album. From getting the air play that he gave, opened doors for her to travel throughout the United States. He was such a great inspiration to us. I remembered when he was doing the flea market and asking people to come out to the churches for their 'parking sales'. He had the voice that would make you smile when you were upset as well as a sincere prayer that would make you want to stop whatever you were doing out of respect not only for God but for him and listen! He had a smile that would light up the room. He will be greatly missed. We'll see you soon, Bro. Joe!Lady ReNea, MSL-1P29

I moved to the Dallas area trusting God to find a church home for me. While waiting I came across Heaven 97 and Bro Joe Bagby and was totally blessed by his radio ministry. The more I tuned into Bro Bagby the more I began to feel at home. I never stopped listening. When our Father called him home I felt as if one of my relative had been called home. Sad because I was going to miss him greatly but glad he is home with the Father.

I have listened to KNOK, KHVN and Bro. Joe on my way to work many nornings, late at night on KNOK. I met Bro. Joe at the midnight musicale and was part of the KHVN Choir. I will truly miss him. He was a great and compassionate man. I remember hsi conversation with Sis. Minnie George. I remember his comments at her funeral. He said "she always wanted me to come to her church,"well she finally got me here". I will always remember him. 'Happy B- Day Bro. Joe.

Today, I remember, celebrate, and honor the memory of my good friend, Bro. Joe Bagby on his birthday. While I miss Bro. Joe tremendously, I celebrate this day with joy because he always had such a great time on the air on his birthday. One of the memories that I cherish most about Bro. Joe is great love and compassion for people. He LOVED helping people in need. I know that personally because he was a great blessing to me and my children during my single-parent journey. And, then there was his great sense of humor. Bro. Joe loved to have fun. I will always cherish the years that I worked with him at KHVN/Heaven 97. May God continue to comfort and strengthen you Sis. Fay and family. Thank you for sharing Bro. Joe with us for so many years!

Denton Loved Bro. Joe
I'm speaking on behalf of the churches in Denton, we all loved Bro. Joe, his ministry was outstanding. He gave until there was no more giving. I'm like Bro. Joe in that I believe somebody ought to say something about life's precious moments. We loved the way he showcased the little people, how he made them feel a self worth. He would say what's happening up there in Denton, Charlye Heggins, Hey to my friend Leonard Logan and my good old buddy Rev. Daniels and the Full Gospel Family. We remember his North Texas State days in Denton, but most of all we remember his Heaven 97 ones. God has showered on us again and removed a great icon from our computers but not from our hearts. He will always be remembered as the pastor of the SportatoriumSis. Phyllis Bruce and the Denton Community will truly miss that great voice that God has shushed!

Be about your Father business
The influence, The inspiration, and The Icon will live on forever. He inspired me to become sucessful in the funeral business, and as a peace officer. Getting to know him has made me a better person, and taught me the value of the community in which we serve. I often quote him. " Be about your Fathers business"

YOU WILL BE MISSED PAPA JOE!
COMING UP AS A LITTLE GIRL I REMEMBER PAPA JOE FROM THE RADIO. MY DAD, OTHA JACKSON, A REAL GOOD FRIEND OF PAPA JOE AND HE USED TO TELL US HOW HE WAS REAL GOOD FRIENDS WITH PAPA JOE. WE DIDN'T BELIEVE IT UNTIL WE MADE THE HONOR ROLL IN SCHOOL AND RECEIVED CERTIFICATES FROM PAPA JOE. WE LOVED THAT SO WE LEARNED OUR BOOKS OF THE BIBLE TO RECEIVE ANOTHER CERTIFICATE. EVERY MORNING GOING TO SCHOOL UP UNTIL OUR ADULTHOOD WE LISTENED FOR PAPA JOE TO PLAY A QUARTET SONG AND DEDICATE IT TO "OTHA JACKSON". WHEN PEOPLE SAY PAPA WAS A GIVING MAN I EXPERIENCED IT FIRST HAND WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY TWINS AND RECEIVED LOTS OF GIFTS FOR THE BABIES FROM PAPA AND THE STAFF OVER AT PRECINCT 8. MY DAD IS A CONSTABLE AND WORKED DOWN IN THE OFFICE WITH PAPA JOE. PAPA JOE WAS ALSO A GOOD FRIEND OF MY UNCLE AND GRANDMOTHER(THE CYRUS) FAMILY. YOU WILL BE CHARISHED IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. ON BEHALF OF THE JACKSON/ CYRUS FAMILY WE LOVE YOU PAPA JOE!!!

Bro Joe an Inspiration
I truely missed Bro Joe. My love for music & songs is partly because of him and my Mother Iraa Lee Hicks. She always turned the TV off to hear his radio show and I'm so glad she did for Bro Joe introduce to me & the radio land so many wonderful singers and bands in music for the Lord and today it rings within my soul. I will always hol him dear in my heart and pray for his wife and family that shared him so with us all. KHVN be encouraged and remember what he always say to you at time "Just Go For It" in Jesus name. Be Blessed. I'm Millie Evelyn Hicks-Singh, Love Ya A Bunch.

To the family my heart goes out to you for your loss. I live in VA now and I was just stopping by to checkout the Homegrown Gospel Spot and found this very shocking. I remember living in Desoto and listening to the Swap Shop on my way to work. EveytimeI hear that song I always thought of Him. Through his life he touched thousands upon thousands as they traveled to work, an through his position with Sherriffs office. I know that Brother Bagby will be missed by all who have known and loved him.

In Memory of a great man!
I thank God for the day when Bro. Joe first came to KNOK/KHVN. I was just a little girl and my parents always listened to Jimmy Avant on Sundays. When Bro. Joe came, I thought he was trying to take Bro. Avant's job. Well, I'm glad he was able to geton the radio. I have enjoyed him down through the years. He called me his voice teacher because I would call in and say that he and Robert sounded terrible. (they got better, and I thank God for that!) He is missed! Love, Carolyn Kelly

Second Father
My father passed on May 3 and we buried him on the 9th and I was in East TX all week. By the time I made it back home I was listening to the radio on the way to work...I was devistated cos I felt like I lost a second father. I have never met the man but coming up in the same denomination I see that he, Mr. Bagby live the life he talked about by the way as the saying goes "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything". On Friday mornings my mom would have me play "Testimony Friday" so she could hear Bro Bagby and Mother Prescott. During the memorials that were conducted on the air I wanted to call so many times but just could not bring myself to call cos it was too close to home. I truly appreciated this man, he was a blessing to me and he will be truly missed. ~ Patrice Johnson

A GREAT FRIEND
I started listening to Brother Joe in the 70's and he always tried to help somebody. I remember when he raised money for Bishop College and the community would not come togeher to help him, so I told Bro. Joe don't worry about those who did not want to help out the Lord would bless his effort. Bro Joe is my friend and I love and miss him so much. Thank you Sister Faye for letting me be Brother Joe's friend as well as your friend. I pray God's blessing in the life of you and the children. Sister Sallie Arnwine and family
